SJ 3 (Shi Jian 3) was a planned Chinese earth resources satellite. It was to be designed an built by the Chinese Academy of Space Technology (CAST).
SJ-3 was cancelled in the 1980ies. It was replaced by the joint Chinese-Brazilian collaboration project CBERS (ZY-1).
