Najm 1, also called Shaheen Sat, is a Saudi-Arabian earth observation and communications satellite built by LinaSpace in the USA for the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Saudi Arabia.

It is an experimental and educational small satellite pathfinder mission for low-duty cycle earth imaging and maritime traffic monitoring from low earth orbit.

Najm-1 carries two payloads: A high resolution telescope with a ground resolution of 0.9 m and a Marine Traffic Automatic Identification System (SAT-AIS) payload.
