DSAP-5B (sunshield deployed) [NRO]
DSAP-5B (Defense Satellite Application Program Block 5B), later DMSP-5B (Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Block 5B), was the seventh version of the military meteorological satellites of the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program.
The designation DMSP-5B (Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Block 5B) was assigned in December 1973 to these satellites.
