
ZX 10 [China Satcom]
ZX 10 (ChinaSat 10) (formerly Sinosat-5, Xinnuo 5) is a communications satellite based upon a DFH-4 bus. The spacecraft features a 15-year design lifetime and a 5,000 kg launch mass. The satellite is equipped with 30 C-band and 16 Ku-band transponders, three receiver antennas, and two transmission antennas. It replaced the aging ZX 5B (formerly Sinosat 1, Xinnuo 1) satellite.
Part of the satellite's payload has been leased to Sri Lanka and is co-branded as SupremeSat until SupremeSat 3 is available.
