SY 22A and 22B (Shiyan 22A and 22B) are a pair Chinese satellite for In-Orbit Demonstration and Validation of new technologies such as space environment monitoring.
The satellites are of different designs:
Currently the manufacturer of Shiyan 22A is not known.
The platform of Shiyan 22B was developed by MinoSpace, and the payload was developed by Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The satellites were launched in 2023 on as secondary payloads on a CZ-2D (2).
