Shiyan 10-01 (SY 10, Experiment 10) is a experimental Chinese satellite.
It was launched in September 2021 on a CZ-3B/G2(2) rocket. While the launcher performed as planned, the satellite itself suffered some kind of failure during the launch. It was deployed into an unusual 177 km by 40104 km highly eccentic orbit with an inclination of 51.04°, similar to a Molniya orbit at lower inclination.
Reportedly the satellites suffers from problems with the power system and batteries.
A second satellite, Shiyan 10-02 (SY 10-02, Experiment 10-02), was launched on 29 December 2022.
