Aalto 3

Aalto 3 [Aalto University]

Aalto 3 is a 1U-CubeSat mission built by the Aalto University of Aalto, Finland.

The satellite carries a Software Defined Radio (SDR) payload. As a secondary payload a wireless bus technology demonstration is flown. Aalto 3 will demonstrate re-programmable software defined radio techniques on UHF. Potential applications of this technology include: data and image transmission, APRS reception, RFI mapping and as a general testbed for new amateur digital modes.
