Impuls 1 [Roskosmos]
Impuls 1 is a Russian 6U CubeSat with a mission to test laser and quantum communications devices as well as monitor solar activity in the soft X-ray spectrum.
The Impuls-1 microsatellite is expected to show that it is possible to view the Sun in the soft X-ray band with small spacecraft (MKAs). It also has apparatus for testing data transfer using a laser communication channel. It is mentioned that the first launch of a small spacecraft with this kind of capability took place in Russia.
