Longjiang 3 [HIT]
Longjiang 3 is an experimental stackable communications satellite, jointly developed by a commercial satellite company and its parent entity, the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), in Northeast China.
The Longjiang-3 will test communication technologies including signal regeneration and network slicing, and provide technical support for China’s satellite Internet construction. Also it will test the structure of a flat-bed stackable satellite, allowing for the launch of multiple satellites without needing a dispenser.
