Centauri 7 [Fleet Space]
Centauri 6 to 8 are satellites for Fleet Space Technologies' planned 140 satellite network for global satellite connectivity to the Internet-of-Things (IoT) designed for use in the energy, utilities, and resource industries.
The Centauri satellites are built to the 12U CubeSat form factor. They weigh 25 kg.
The C6, C7, C8, and A1 satellites will be released from the launch vehicle into the intended mission inclination at 45 degrees and altitude of 550-600 km. The onboard thrusters will be used for orbit phasing as well as raising the satellites to the mission perigee (577 km) and apogee (587 km) while keeping the 45° inclination. The satellites will perform station-keeping manoeuvres over the lifetime of the mission to ensure the satellites remain in this orbit until the end of the mission.
