Aichi University of Technology's AUTcube 2 (Aichi University of Technology CubeSat), nicknamed Gamacube, is an 1U CubeSat for astronomical observations.

The AUTcube 2 mission has four objectives:

  • To establish QRP satellite communication technologies with a transmitter of 1-mW or less output power and JWJT protocol.
  • To make a research of EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) at command uplink frequency with an onboard narrowband spectrum analyzer.
  • To establish optical communication technologies with onboard high power LED’s.
  • To obtain space VR (Virtual Reality) contents with an onboard all-around camera system consisting of two cameras with fish-eye lenses.
