Yaogan 35-01C is a Chinese military satellite of unknown purpose. A two different satellites, Yaogan 35-01A and Yaogan 35-01B, were also launched together with it.
The satellites of this triplet launch were of different designs: Yaogan 35-01A and Yaogan 35-01B were built by DFH Satellite (Beijing) and Yaogan 35-01C was built by SAST (Shanghai). The purpose of these satellites is not yet known. It has be speculated that Yaogan 35-01A and Yaogan 35-01B might be imaging satellites and Yaogan 35C might be a radar satellite. SIGINT / ELINT or communications missions have also been speculated.
Further batches were launched in June, July, August and September 2022.
It is unknown, if and how the Yaogan 35 triplets differ from the Yaogan 36 and Yaogan 35 triplets.
