Vigoride (generic) [Momentus]
The Vigoride, developed by Momentus, is a free flying satellite deployer.
Vigoride employs a water based microwave electrothermal thruster for changing orbit.
The first vehicle to be launched was Vigoride 3, carrying 7 small satellites. It suffered a failure of the solar arrays to deploy, which has reduced power and limited communication. The company did have initial contact with Vigoride-3 and was able to confirm the two satellite deployments, but even with Federal Communications Commission approval of the use of unplanned frequencies it has not been able to maintain two-way communications.
