UtilitySat 1 [Astranis]
Astranis builds UtilitySat 1 a small reconfigurable geostationary high-throughput communications satellite to be used to provide broadband communications services .
The 300 kg satellite is to use electric propulsion to reach geostationary orbit. It features reconfigurable transponders in Ka, Ku, Q, and V band spectrum to serve a variety of mission needs for various customers.
After reaching orbit, Arcturus will provide replacement services for the failed Arcturus (Aurora 4A) until a full replacement becomes available.
