UoS3

UoS3 [UoS]

UoS3 (University of Southampton Small Satellite) is a 1U-CubeSat designed by the University of Southampton (UoS).

The satellite will collect precise orbit and attitude data as its orbit decay under the influence of atmospheric drag, which will be used to validate re-entry prediction tools for space debris.

UoS3 was selected by ESA's "Fly Your Satellite!" Program in 2017 to be deployed in orbit from the ISS in 2018 or 2019.
