UmKA 1 (RS 40S) [Sputnix]
UmKA 1 is a Russian 3U CubeSat by Sputnix in collaboration with Podolsk School 29.
Students from School No. 29 created the UmKa-1 satellite, which includes a telescope. The device is built on top of the OrbiCraft-Pro platform. Students from the school's center for scientific creativity were in charge of the payload. The university also has its own astronomical complex, which includes a planetarium and an observatory.
The payload consists of the high-powered telescope "Leptonar-20955K" and the astronomical digital camera playerOne Saturn-C SQR. Before inserting them into the satellite body, project participants photographed the constellation Cygnus and the Andromeda nebula from Earth.
