SSS 1
APSCO-SSS-1 is the first satellite project of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) led by China and jointly produced by several member countries. The satellite project is managed by the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Beihang) and researched and developed with help of MinoSpace. The success of this satellite project provides a reference model for increasing the small satellite R&D capabilities of APSCO members.
MinoSpace has deeply participated in the R&D of key products on this satellite, including hardware and software algorithms of the attitude control computer, attitude control components, UV communicator and UV deployment antenna, ground test software system and satellite flight control system. The company also provided multinational cooperation experience on satellite R&D projects.
The satellite was launched in October 2021 from Taiyuan on a ride-share mission on a CZ-2D (2).
