RWASAT 1 []

RWASAT 1 (Rwanda Satellite 1) is a 3U Cubesat built under the auspices of Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) to develop a space engineering capacity in Rwanda.

The cubesat has two cameras for monitoring the status of agriculture and a receiver for data collection from ground based sensors.

The satellite was launched on board of HTV 8 to the ISS, where it was deployed on 20 November 2019.
