Qilu 2 is an high resolution optical earth observation satellite which mainly serve remote sensing industry users mainly in Shandong Province.

The satellite feature2 a high-resolution optical camera developed by the Shanghai Institute of Technology. It is used for of large-scale wide visible light multispectral imaging at 0.7 meters and high-sensitivity thermal infrared imaging at 14 meters. It can realize important applications such as high-resolution all-day agile imaging and high-definition video observation.

Qilu 2 was launched in January 2023 as co-passenger on a CZ-2D (2) rocket.
