Qilu 1

Qilu 1 []

Qilu 1 is a radar earth observation satellite which mainly serves remote sensing industry users mainly in Shandong Province.

The Qilu-1 satellite is a SAR remote sensing satellite, which carries SAR remote sensing payloads, laser communicators, and smart payloads.

After the satellite is in orbit, it mainly conducts SAR remote sensing observations and obtains ground microwave remote sensing images. In addition, using inter-satellite laser communication means, Qilu-1 satellite can verify on-orbit autonomous mission planning, on-orbit image processing and low-orbit inter-satellite laser communication technology.

Qilu 1 was launched in April 2021 as a co-passenger on a CZ-6 rocket.
