Lagari

Lagari [STM]

Lagari is a turkish high resolution microsatellite for environmental monitoring and disaster relief built by STM. It is under development by STM in collaboration with its partner Berlin Space Technologies.

Lagari will serve to meet the needs of tactical imagery in the field in close real time, general mapping, forest and vegetation follow-up, investigation of agricultural areas, natural disaster monitoring.

The 70 kg satellite features an imaging payload, which provides panchromatic imagery with a ground resolution of 2 m and multispectral imagery with a ground resolution of 8 m.

It was to be launched as a secondary payload in August 2020 on an Indian PSLV rocket but has been delayed.
