Jilin-1 Optical-A is a Chinese commercial remote sensing satellite designed and owned by the Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co.

Jilin-1 Optical-A is an high-definition optical satellite with a 0.72 m resolution pan-chromatic camera and 4 m resolution multi-spectral camera.

Jilin-1 Optical-A operates as as part of a constellation of four satellites, Jilin 1 for high-definition images, Jilin-1 Jishu Yanzheng for testing new space technology and two Jilin-1 Video satellites for video.

The four satellites were launched on a CZ-2D (2) rocket from China's Jiuquan space center.
