Intelsat 35e

Intelsat 35e [Boeing BSS]

Intelsat S.A. ordered in July 2014 construction of their ninth BSS-702MP satellite, Intelsat 35e (IS-35e).

IS-35e has a high throughput C- and Ku-band payload for Intelsat's Epic system.

The payload is powered by two solar wings, each with three panels of ultra triple-junction gallium arsenide solar cells.

The satellite is positioned at 34.5° West to replace Intelsat 903.
