Horus 1 or Helusi 1 (荷鲁斯1号) is a earth observation satellite launched by China for an undisclosed customer. Possibly it is an Egyptian earth observation satellite, which was jointly built by Egypt's National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (NARSSS) together with the Chinese company DFH.
Egypt ordered in 2019 a ~300 kg earth observation satellite from DFH, dubbed Misrsat-2 (not to be confused with EgyptSat 2 (MisrSat 2) launched in 2014), that was supposed to launch in December 2022.
Horus 1 was launched on 24 February 2023 on a Chinese CZ-2C (3) booster. Horus 2 was launched on 13 March 2023 also on a Chinese CZ-2C (3) booster.
