FUTABA () is an educational CubeSat (1U) built by Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech) .

FUTABA has four objectives:

  • Observing the Pb-Free solders
  • Three-axis attitude control with magnetic torquers
  • Wireless communication experiment on 2.4 GHz band
  • Promoting the satellite development by amateur radio operators
