Canary Hatchling v0.1 [Care Weather Technologies]
Canary Hatchling v0.1 is a picosatellite developed by Care Weather Technologies to the 1P PocketQube form factor as a technology demonstrator for their planned Veery wind scatterometer satellites.
Hatchling v0.1 demonstrates the modern, miniaturized systems required for a weather satellite. It is capable of powering itself throughout its orbit through solar power generation, storing power in its batteries, monitoring its own thermal and electrical health, and communicating its status to the ground over a distance of more than 550 km.
