Arabsat 6D is a planned Ka- and Ku-band communications satellite for television, broadband and in-flight connectivity. It is co-owned by Arabsat and KACST.
It is the first geostationary satellite to in Saudi Arabia by Taqnia Space.
The satellite is to be launched in 2019 to be stationed at 44.5° east.
