BCP-4000 (Radarsat 1) [Ball]
The Ball Aerospace Commercial Platform 4000 (BCP 4000) is designed specifically for SAR applications and provides the necessary power, stability and reliability for a cost-effective solution. The BCP 4000 uses the design heritage and flight-proven components as used on Radarsat 1 to meet SAR mission requirements in a low-risk, cost-effective manner.
The BCP 4000 architecture easily accommodates a wide range of payload and ground system requirements. A variety of options are available including various communication standards, power and propulsion capabilities, payload interfaces and onboard data storage.
