Perun

Perun [SpaceForest]

Perun, designed anf built by the Polish company SpaceForest, is a single-stage guided suborbital launch vehicle powered by a hybrid rocket engine, designed to provide high performance at a low cost of operation.

The vehicle is designed to carry a 50 kg seperable payload to an apogee of 150 km.

Perun is powered by a hybrid fuel rocket motor called SF-1000 with thrust vector control, utilizing green propellants (modified paraffin and liquid oxygen). After burnout it uses cold gas thrusters for attitude control. The vehicle has a height of 11.5 m, a diameter of 0.45 m and a lift-off weight of 970 kg. The rocket is recoverable using a ballute system.

For launch a trailer mounted mobile launch rail is used. Initial flights are planned from the Ustka naval training center in Poland.
