KEI (Kinetic Energy Interceptor) was a planned booster for missile defense. The two stage booster was developed by Orbital Sciences Corp. (OSC) with ATK providing the solid rocket motors.

Four static test firings of the first stage motor were conducted, before the program was cancelled in 2009 due primarily to financial reasons.
