The SCATHA (Spacecraft Charging at High Altitude) aka P78-2 satellite was a technical research satellite to explore the effects of spacecraft charging. It was built by Martin Marietta and launched by a Delta-2914 booster to a quasi-stationary orbit (28000 km x 42000 km, 8.3°) on 30.01.1979.
