ZJ 1 (Zijing 1)

ZJ 1 (Zijing 1) is a picosatellites developed by Tsinghua University.

The satellite was carried on board of the NS 2 satellite.

ZJ-1 weighs 234 g and has the purpose to evaluate micro CMOS cameras and MEMS magnetometers, as well as formation flying on tethers with KJSY 1 and inter-satellite communications.

These satellites were launched in a cluster of 20 satellites on the maiden flight of the CZ-6 rocket.
