Xiaoxiang 1 (XX 1) is a developed at the Changsha Gaoxinqu Tianyi Research Institute, Hunan.

The 8 kg satellite is built to the 6U CubeSat form factor. The payload consists of a stabilization system to provide precise, stabilzed camera pointing.

Xiaoxiang 1 is to be launched as a piggy-back payload on the second flight of the CZ-11 rocket.
