Xinghe (Tianfuguoxing 1, TY 1-03)

TY 1-03 [Spacety]

Tianfuguoxing-1 or Xinghe or TY 1-03 is a small remote sensing technology satellite. It is jointly developed by Tianyi Research Institute and Chengdu Guoxing Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd.,

The satellite is a prototype to a planned global and minute-level updated image data network consisting of 192 satellites. The satellite is the first satellite of the new remote sensing technology of the constellation and will explore a series of commercial services.

The 8 kg satellite is built to the 6U CubeSat form factor.

The satellite was launched in October 2018 as a co-passenger to CFOSAT on a CZ-2C (3) rocket.
