Tselina-R (Tselina-D probably similar) [Yuzhnoye]
The Tselina-R series of soviet SIGINT satellites were modified versions of the Tselina-D series. These satelites carried an experimental COMINT payload to intercept communication links.
The satellites were built by the KB Yuzhnoye design bureau in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, and the payloads by the Central Scientific Radiotechnical Research Institute or TsNIRTI in Moscow.
