SCOUT

SCOUT [Spaceflight Industries]

SCOUT is a prototype for visible imaging microsatellite capable of 1.0 meter visible imagery at nadir.

SCOUT is based on the Spaceflight SENTRY-4000 satellite bus. The spacecraft has a nominal cross section of 40 cm × 46 cm and, in the stowed launch configuration, is 84 cm in length. At approximately 50-55 kg wet mass depending on customer configuration, it can be launched in both a horizontal and vertical orientation as a secondary payload on a variety of launch vehicle platforms.
