The R-2 Instrument Package was a set of instruments to record the dynamic flight characteristics of the Black Arrow launch vehicle during the maiden launch. The main payload was the Orba (X 2) atmospheric density satellite.
Both payloads were lost, when the Black Arrow failed to reach orbit.
