mRESINS

mRESINS (mini Redundant Strapdown Inertial Navigation System) is a test of an improved, miniaturized version of the Redundant Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (RESINS) already used on PSLV and GSLV rockets. The mRESINS tests consists an additional avionics box bolted to the fourth stage of the PSLV-CA launch vehicle and will not be deployed for free flight. For guidance, this PSLV mission relies on the standard RESINS. If successful, mRESINS will take over for future flights.
