The Kaidun 1 or Caton 1 is a 2U CubeSat built jointly by the Beijing Kaidun Universal Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing MSI Technology Development Co., Ltd. and the Nanjing University of Technology.

The satellite is to test a VHF Data Exchange System (VDES) for communications via the Inmarsat satellite system.

The satellite was launched as a secondary payload on a Kuaizhou-1A rocket.
