CougSat 1

CougSat 1 [Washington State University]

The CougSat 1 is a 1U CubeSat educational satellite for future space engineers by the Washington State University.

CougSat 1 is an educational mission to establish a long term cubesat development program will reach out to future students, who will benefit from the institutional knowledge and resources collected in this initial startup. It will involve undergraduate students through a multi-discipline student organization, called Cougs in Space (CiS), and STEM curriculum involvement.

It was selected in 2017 by NASA's CubeSat Launch Initiative (CSLI) to be launched as part of the ELaNa program.
