Arabsat 6D is a planned Ka- and Ku-band communications satellite for television, broadband and in-flight connectivity. It is co-owned by Arabsat and KACST.
It is the first geostationary satellite to be built in Saudi Arabia by Taqnia Space.
The satellite was to be launched in 2019 to be stationed at 44.5° east. It is not clear, if the program is still going on.
