The LandSpace-1 (LS-1), is a planned Chinese commercial launch vehicle.
Reportedly, the payload is about 1000 kg.
The four stage rocket is reportedly based on the CZ-11 launch vehicle. It consists of four solid-fueled stages. It uses the largest solid rocket motor developed in China so far as first stage. With a diameter of 2 m, it is likely based on the DF-31 missile. The total length is 20.7 m. It is capable to put a 400 kg payload into a 500 km sun-synchronous orbit.
The maiden flight is planned for 2017 or 2018.
