Dualhawk [Sandia] |
The Sandhawk was developed as an upper stage for multi stage sounding rockets. It was first tested as single stage vehicle in 1966, but this flight failed. Only few single stage Sandhawk was launched. But with a Terrier booster it made some 30 flights. It was also used as the first stage of the Dualhawk with a Tomahawk as upper stage.
