Al-Samoud (Ababil-100)
Al Samoud [UNSCOM]
Al-Samoud (formerly called Ababil-100) is a 150 km range ballistic missile engineered form parts of Soviet-built Volga (SA-2) Surface-Air missiles. Apparently the range might be about 40 km higher than officially announced by the Iraqi government. Several seem to have been fired agianst Kuwait in the second Gulf war.
